A 6 year old academic department with a small but very dynamic faculty. Our home page has lots of information on our programs, course, faculty and has interactive pages for visitors. Some of our academic areas of interest are: women and health (contagion, AIDS), women and development (we sent 10 students to Peru last summer on this research interest), gender and environment, images of women and men in popular culture, feminist theories and practice, and a new area on women, work, and the union movement.
